Red Cross Society was formed in the Geneva Convention of 1864 by Mr. Jean Henri Dunant . The experiences of Italy where the Franco Austrian war was occurred in 1859, which established the International Red Cross Movement.

Today Red Cross Society is also ready to help the people who are suffering from earth quake, flood, fire and natural calamities etc, in addition to the support for the victims of war.
